I had painted an acrylic on canvas board portrait of Cat Stevens in high school in like 1994 or 1995. He was my mom’s favorite. So I scanned and printed it on layers of self adhesive vinyl that I drew on with fine point markers, cut to shape with an xacto and collaged on a sheet of aluminum. I then drew on that to tie it all together cohesively.
